Good morning everyone, happy April Fool’s Day. No pranks today for me, I don’t have time for those. Before I went on my RV road trip, I did a mini App-O-Rama in mid March and it’s been almost 2 weeks, so I can now share all my results. If you have been reading my blog for a while, you probably know about my ongoing battle with Barclays. I have applied for 5-6 Barclays credit cards over the last 2 years or so and have been denied every time. Since the Barclays US Airways Credit Card is going away very soon, I thought I would try for that card one more time. The sign up bonus is 50,000 US Airways miles (now those are 50,000 American Airlines miles) after your first purchase.

Ebags AMEX Offer and Updates Regarding US Bank FlexPerks, Citi American Airlines, and Chase Southwest Airlines Retention Offers
Good evening everyone, I had an interesting day today. I took my cousin’s Australia Shepherd puppy for a walk this morning and grabbed the wrong set of keys. I was locked out of the apartment for a few hours and had a very interest afternoon with stops at the Apple Store (buying a Mophie portable battery), Panera Bread (their table-side ordering is amazing, btw), and Petco (lunch for the pup). Now that I am safely/warmly back inside, here are some random news to share.
There is an AMEX Offer for Ebags.com where you can get a $15 statement credit after making a purchase of $75 or more. I noticed that Ebags sells gift cards online, but there is nothing on Gift Card Granny regarding buy back rate.
Redbird Reloads: Discover It Miles, Golden1 Platinum Rewards, or US Bank FlexPerks Credit Card?
Good afternoon everyone, before I begin, I wanted to remind everyone that my giveaway ends tonight at 8pm PST. If you haven’t entered the giveaway yet, please do so. Good luck to everyone! With that said, let’s get to the topic that is on my mind today.
Lately, I have been thinking about the best way to reload my Redbird Cards. Assuming I can only use credit cards for Redbird reloads (no gift cards), which credit card is the best for earning cash back? Is the new “3% cash back” Discover It Miles credit card the best for Redbird reloads?
Random News: Barclays 50% Bonus, Chime Card Deals, Staples Easy Rebates, and e-Rewards Updates

You will receive a 50% bonus on all miles earned with the aforementioned credit cards for all purchases made from March 1 through June 30, with a 10,000 bonus miles cap.
Evolve Money Update: 3% Fee for Prepaid Debit Cards and Gift Cards Beginning February 24
Good afternoon everyone, today is the last day to use prepaid debit cards and gift cards on Evolve Money without paying a 3% fee. Starting tomorrow (February 24), Evolve Money will begin adding the 3% fee to all bill payments paid for with a prepaid debit cards and gift cards. There is also a hint as to what is coming: increased limits on transactions (payments for more than $999) which could be useful for people paying larger bills like mortgages.
